The Malaysian Food Festival

The Malaysian Food Festival (MFF) is a event hosted in conjunction with the Nottingham Malaysian Games (NMG) on the 12th of Nov this year. It is to provide the participants and our NMG Crews with choices of Malaysian cuisines. It is also a platform for those who are interested in promoting their business in food or services.

The Nottingham Malaysian Society is proud to present our 27th NOTTINGHAM MALAYSIAN GAMES 2011!
Details of our games are as below :
Date : 12th November 2011
Time : 8am to 7pm
Venue : University of Nottingham,UK
We would like to welcome all Malaysian societies from universities in the United Kingdom and Ireland to join n help make this year’s Nottingham Malaysian Games yet another successful n memorable one. Formal invitations will be sent by email to all Malaysian society representatives which will further explain NMG 2011 including type of sports available, registration dates etc.

From Britain with Love

‘Love from Britain’ is a charity project to transfer second-hand books from UK to Malaysia rural areas; Sabah, Terengganu & Perak. We successfully brought 3 big boxes of books that we collected from carboot sales to be shipped back to Malaysia, free-of-charge. And the effort didn’t stop there, we collaborate with The Nottingham Nursery School & Training Centre in the UK and we, too, collaborate with NISA, an NGO from Malaysia to materialize an extension project called ‘Learning through Play’ where some NMS members go to the rural areas and teach kindergarten kids on how to have fun while learning.
