Parking: 1. Chulan Tower basement car park at RM3.00 for the first hour, and RM2.50 per hour subsequently, 2. Open air car park opposite Chulan Tower (it should be RM5.00 or RM6.00 per entry)
The pre-departure briefing invitation is open to all Undergraduate and Postgraduate students with a conditional offer to go to The University of Nottingham for 2010/11 academic session. Please RSVP Sherry Ng, the International Officer through this email (sherry.ng[at]notttingham.ac.uk ) or call her at the telephone number above and state the number of people attending (ie. Parents) as we will be providing light snacks and drinks. For Muslims you may pack your food and drinks back home!
We hope that this gathering will be an opportunity for you to find out more about the University, meet your fellow malaysian coursemates and seniors to solve any problems you may have before your intake this coming September as well as to ease your transition into University Life.

NMS is back with an EXCITING holiday break specially for YOU!
We will be heading to Lake District very soon!!
The details are below:-
Departure Time: 7.30 am sharp (From EAST DRIVE bus stop)
Arrival time (back to Nottingham): 1.00am (don’t worry,we have 4 drop off points for now and many more – just inform us on googledoc below
Fee: £20 (for members), £25 ( for non-members)
Reasons why you should JOIN our trip:-
NMS will be subsidizing almost HALF of the transport costs. So the amount you pay for a whole long day in Lake District is really really cheap! You will have to spend almost £50 on transport if you go by yourself! DO NOT MISS the chance!
The fee includes the tickets for the Steam Train and the Lake Cruise.
We will providing a snack lunch for the trip and also chocolates as well
The final reason is…before we go back to our homes in Malaysia, We should go out and have some Summer Fun, what better place than the beautiful Lake District.
So, come along and join the after-exams celebration!
Be sure to bring umbrellas, and thick clothing as it gets windy up north.
Just to remind you we have LIMITED seats available!! So please register as soon as you can as it will be on a first come first serve basis.

All leavers and Malaysian Night Committee, Casts, Volunteers go for free! A small fee of £2 will be charged for Members and £4 for Non-Members
Activities include eating good food, a magic show, and several games would also be conducted for those who are interested! (frisbee, tug-of war)
If you are a Leaver please register (form) no later by Wednesday 12 Midnight to get your certificate
NMS is pleased to announce that BANK NEGARA MALAYSIA will be coming to University Of Nottingham. NMS has teamed up with Bank Negara Malaysia to offer scholarships and career opportunities to Malaysian students from the Business School. Therefore, this would be a wonderful opportunity for you to meet directly the Assistant Governor of Central Bank of Malaysia to get a head start career in the Bank or to grab the scholarship.
